To satisfy the Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 & BCGA CP7 it is essential that an annual inspection is carried out on this equipment.

Employees appointed by the company currently undertaking these inspection or who require training in the annual inspection of mobile Oxy-Fuel units
Classroom Session 1 hour
- Single & multi-stage regulators
- Date coding
- Flashback Arrestors: types & functions
- Hoses: Components; hose care; hose check valves
- Torches & nozzles
- Documentation
- Annual inspection procedure
Practical Session 2 hours
- Under the instruction of the trainer delegates perform a full inspection using the PGS Annual Inspection Checklist & Manual
Delegate Documentation
Delegates will have received full documentation from the Oxy-Acetylene/Propane Gas User workshop in addition they will receive:
- Annual Inspection manual – a step-by-step guide to the full process
- Annual inspection report check-list – this allows for a full documentation of the inspection
- Oxy-fuel compliance checklist
Certification
Full certification and documentation as per the Oxy-Acetylene/Propane Gas User Workshop annotated with Gas Inspector.
